Top Down Raglan Blouse Fatin

This is my first attempt designing an adult size and is specially designed for my second daughter, NURIN FATIN NABILA.

The seamless blouse is knitted from the top down with raglan increases.

Materials
Moda Vera Beetle, Colour: Coral, Code: 67 (6 balls)
Moda Vera Beetle, Colour: Beige, Code: 45 (3 balls)
4mm and 3.75mm needles
4mm double pointed needles 
4 stitch markers
Waste yarn

Gauge
19 sts x 27 rows
(10cm x 10cm)  

Size 
Chest – 38 inch
Sleeves – 14 inch (from underarm to cuff)

Abbreviations
k – knit
p – purl
sts – stitches
pm – place marker
sm – slip marker
kfb – knit front & back of the same stitch (increase of 1 stitch)
stocking st – knit 1 row, purl 1 row
k2tog – knit 2 stitches together
ssk – slip one st, then slip the next. Insert left needle into the front loops of the slipped sts & knit them together through the back loops

Body
With 3.75mm needle
Cast on 84 stitches.
Ribbing for 0.75 inch

Change to 4mm needle
Row 1 – p14, pm, p28, pm, p14, pm, p28
Row 2 – k1, kfb, * knit to 2 sts before marker, kfb, k1, sm, k1, kfb *, repeat * to * 3 times more for full set increase of raglan
Row 3 – purl all the stitches

Repeat Rows 2 & 3 for a total of 30 times & the stitch count should be:
Front – 88 sts
Back – 88 sts
Sleeves – 74 sts on each sleeve

Next row –
Remove marker, slip the next 74 sts onto waste yarn, cast on 4 sts, k88, remove marker, slip the next 74 sts onto waste yarn, cast on 4 sts, k88

You will now knit the body (184 sts) in stocking st until it measures according to your size.

Sleeves
With 4mm double pointed needles, pick up the 74 sts held on waste yarn.

You will start knitting by picking up 2 sts from the middle of the cast on at the underarm, k70, pick another 2 sts from the remaining portion of the cast on at the underarm (74 sts) You will now be knitting in the round.

*Knit 6 round. Decrease round (7th round) – ssk, knit to the last 2 sts, k2tog*

Repeat the above sequence from * to * for another 9 times (56 sts)

Knit (without any decreases) till the sleeve measures 4 inch from the 9th decrease.

Change to 3.75mm needles to start seed stitches
Row1 – ssk (k1, p1 till last 2 sts) k2tog (54sts)
Row 2 – (p1, k1) till end
Repeat seed pattern (Row 1-k1,p1 & Row 2-p1,k1) for 2 more times (in total 6rounds)
Bind off.
